Trading systems
Software architecture and components for systematic crypto trading, built to be tested in isolation.
RookLab builds trading systems, execution infrastructure and engineering tools for crypto markets: from strategy implementation and backtesting to exchange connectivity, risk controls and monitoring.
Four focus areas. They describe the direction of the work, not a catalogue of finished commercial products.
Software architecture and components for systematic crypto trading, built to be tested in isolation.
Exchange connectivity, authentication, order submission, position handling and execution workflows.
Strategy implementation, historical simulation and the tooling to evaluate results honestly.
Risk controls, trade logging, operational monitoring and visibility into system behavior.
Our concrete example of the work: a Python algorithmic trading framework built for the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
Hyper-Engine covers the path from exchange connectivity to monitored execution, including EMA, RSI, Bollinger Bands and VWAP indicators.
Engineering work, not proof of profitability. No live performance, customers or capital are claimed.
We plan to use language models to draft experiment specifications, review strategy code and explain test results. A language model will not compute results or place orders. Calculations stay in deterministic code, and a human reviews generated code before it runs.
Build components that behave predictably and can be tested.
Treat risk checks, order handling and failure scenarios as core engineering concerns.
Make system behavior easier to inspect, debug and understand.
Prioritize working software, clear documentation and measurable progress.
RookLab is an independent engineering initiative focused on crypto trading infrastructure. The goal is reliable systems and useful developer tools for systematic trading.
It is early-stage. RookLab does not manage client funds or provide investment advice, and nothing here is a trading recommendation.
